ReplyDeleteI enjoyed meeting Janet Bralove, the talkative woman who sat in front of us during the service and repeatedly turned around to tell little anecdotes and answer our questions about the church and the service. She was SO friendly, and very helpful and inviting.
ReplyDeleteMeeting Janet Bralove was also one of my favorite parts of the experience! She said: "It [Unitarian Universalism] is extremely religious, but not necessarily about God." I thought this was such an interesting point--I actually had never really thought about religion without the belief in a God.
